Ville is the co-founder of Spring Advisor and one of our most experienced advisors. Over the years, he has gained vast knowledge in management consulting. Ville’s expertise lies in managing people and engagements and the high-quality but efficient structuring of projects.
Ville advises customers in the crossroads of value creation, strategic and operational issues, M&A, and financing. Ville has, over the years, helped business owners, boards, senior management, and private equity from family-owned firms to large publicly traded corporations, early-stage investors to large buyout funds, and from start-ups to cities, municipalities, and government agencies.


Ville is specialized in advising clients on value creation in the sectors of strategy, operations, change management and M&A and financing. Over the years, he has advised owners, boards, management teams and investors with backgrounds ranging from family-owned companies to large, listed companies, early-stage investors to large buyout funds, and start-ups to cities, municipalities, and government agencies.

Ville’s work is based on building trust and at the same time understanding the facts and managing the big picture. Trust is a prerequisite since Spring’s engagements without exception address strategically and financially important decisions as well as implementing and managing change.


Ville has been an advisor for more than twenty years. He has advised domestic and international clients on major strategic and operational projects. In addition, he has been a key player in dozens of successful M&A transactions ranging from a few million to over a billion euros in value.

Ville was a partner in another consulting company and responsible for strategy and M&A assignments before founding Spring Advisor. Ville formerly worked as an analyst and has also worked in the banking and finance sector.

Ville holds an M.Sc. (Finance) from the Helsinki School of Economics (currently Aalto University). He has also studied company and securities law to complement his professional skills.
