Kia joined Spring in the autumn of 2023, bringing with her extensive experience from the energy sector, particularly energy markets, as well as management consulting.
As part of Spring’s energy team, Kia works broadly on various energy industry strategy and M&A projects. In addition, she specializes in the feasibility assessment of large investments and the facilitation of investment decision-making processes. Due to the diversity of projects, one of the most memorable for Kia has been an energy company’s strategy process, in which several business areas were reviewed in a changing market, and an M&A strategy was created for the company.
Kia has more hobbies than there are hours in a day, but walking with her dog Toto is her absolute favorite. Perhaps to make time for her hobbies, Kia is known for her strong sense of organization and efficiency. She excels at managing large, complex projects without stress, even when faced with demanding situations.
Before joining Spring, Kia worked at AFRY in management consulting for the energy sector, where she also gained experience in wind and solar power project development.
Kia holds a Master’s degree in Information and Service Management from Aalto University School of Business. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in combining commercial expertise with energy sector know-how, which led her to complete a minor in Energy Economics and Markets.
