Sinikka Niskanen

Professional skills

Sinikka joined Spring in spring 2023 and, as part of Spring’s strategy team, mainly focuses on transformation projects where we assist customers to make their business more profitable and efficient, both on broad and more focused scale. She has accumulated experience especially in the industrial sector, both in projects related to strategy and operational development, as well as M&A, both buy- and sell-side.

In addition to Spring’s assignments, Sinika has extensive work experience in the development of operational business and strategic partnerships in the IT and financial sector in an international group – especially business processes are Sinikka’s area of ​​strength.

Philosophy

Sinikka believes in the power of cooperation, she analyzes new situations in detail and strives to bring out the main root causes of challenges, which are set out to be solved together from the beginning, utilizing everyone’s strengths. She knows from experience that even small details can sometimes have a big meaning, and she emphasizes the importance of a versatile review when developing entities, in which everyone gets to contribute.

The interest in improving operational efficiency can also be seen in leisure time with sports, where continuous development takes place through goal-oriented, systematic and focused work – and good cooperation without forgetting to have fun.

Background

Sinikka has worked in the commercial sector for almost 20 years of which at 3stepIT for over 15 years in various expert roles, e.g. as Product Manager, Funding Manager and a team leader of financing business operations. The international work environment, financial management, product and process management, as well as business development through the improvement and scaling of operating models are things she is familiar with – in addition, in the early stages of her career, she has experience in e.g. direct sales and marketing.

Sinikka has a Master’s degree in Economics from LUT University, majoring in Strategic Finance and Business Analytics. In addition, she has studied international business at Aalto EE.
