Jaakko joined Spring in January 2026 following the integration of Rejlers’ technical consulting operations into Spring, bringing with him strong capabilities in analyzing the technical and economic aspects of industrial and energy sector projects beyond a surface-level perspective.
At Spring, Jaakko works within the Energy & Infrastructure team, while also collaborating with the Strategy and Corporate Finance teams on projects such as transactions and market studies. In his work, Jaakko leverages over eight years of experience in energy technology.
Jaakko’s key guiding principles are understanding client needs and clearly articulating and justifying his insights. Through this approach, he aims to keep both clients and colleagues satisfied, acting as an easygoing and collaborative team player in projects. His work is also driven by a strong interest in the energy transition and technological development. In his free time, Jaakko keeps himself busy with activities such as cycling, music, and reading.
Jaakko has worked as an expert or project lead in several clean transition project development studies, market assessments, and due diligence engagements. His previous experience has focused particularly on industrial R&D as well as the energy use of bio-based and waste-derived materials, and broader circular economy perspectives.
