Aki has been with Spring since early 2026, working particularly on projects in the energy and infra sector, where market change, growth opportunities, and operational efficiency are in focus. Outside of work, Aki spends time with his children, stays active through a range of sports, and enjoys fishing around Lake Saimaa.

Background

Aki has a broad background in the energy sector. He brings strong expertise especially in market studies for new technologies, as well as technical and commercial advisory services in M&A and strategy projects.

Before joining Spring, he led Rejlers Finland’s technical management consulting business. Prior to that, Aki worked, among other roles, in Fortum’s innovation and venturing team and advised a wide range of private and public sector clients during his time at Tieto and Gaia Consulting.

Aki holds a Master of Science in Technology from Aalto University. He also has an academic research background in modelling and economic optimization of distributed electrification in district heating system.
