Sami started at Spring as an intern in early 2025 and returned as a full-time employee in spring 2026, bringing prior experience from both strategy consulting and the technology industry.
At Spring, Sami works primarily in the Strategy & Performance team, where he has already contributed to client engagements in corporate strategy and market research. In addition, Sami has gained experience in the Corporate Finance team working on financial modelling, as well as in the Energy team on energy sector projects.
Sami takes a calm and confident approach to work, ensuring projects are delivered with quality, but without unnecessary stress. He particularly enjoys complex, multifaceted engagements where he can draw on previous expertise while learning plenty of new things.
In his free time, Sami enjoys spending time in nature and pursuing various sports, while also leaving room for books and chess.
Before joining Spring, Sami worked at KPMG’s Global Strategy Group and at ABB Drives in both finance and product-oriented roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University and is currently completing his Master of Science (Tech) degree, majoring in strategy.
