Mikko is a Spring original and one of the four founding members, with over 20 years of consulting expertise. Mikko appreciates working on complex strategic problems with his team and customers. He is thrilled to use new methodologies and inventive thinking, paired with his extensive experience, to add value, not just buzzwords. In addition, Mikko has vast experience in telecom operator, IT, and logistics industries, bringing a valuable dose of expertise to Spring’s team.

Mikko is focused on expanding Spring’s business, cultivating customer relationships, and exploring novel ways of working. Mikko is inspired by new things in his work and is excited about a wide range of activities and initiatives. Mikko’s strengths and central areas of interest lie in spotting the changing patterns in markets and trends, recognizing these, and acting to reinforce his customers strengths in any market situation.

There is no one truth, but usually a somewhat complex situatio that requires a thorough understanding of the entire operating environment. Developing a business needs boldness and critical thinking, that lead to concrete actions.

Background

Mikko has over 20 years of strategy consulting experience in various businesses, including NAG and Omnitel. Mikko has been involved in the launch and implementation of critical projects in strategy, company reorganization, and business development throughout his career. Mikko had previously held the role of Team Leader, where he was in charge of various domestic and international telecoms business planning and startup initiatives. Mikko has also worked in sales and managerial positions in IT-startups.

Mikko holds an M.Sc. (Electrical Engineering) from Helsinki University of Technology (currently Aalto University), and a Diploma in Business Administration from Henley Management College.
